Common questions about plans and billing

What are the differences between plans?

Plans are differentiated by dimensions such as number of nodes, networks, ACL capabilities, and exit nodes. Free and Lite are suitable for personal experience and small teams, Pro (with Basic ACL) for SMBs and growing teams, Business (with Advanced ACL) for large enterprises and organizations, and Enterprise (with Enterprise-grade ACL) for groups, government, and financial customers.

What's the difference between monthly and annual billing?

Annual billing is about 17% cheaper than monthly billing (annual payment is equivalent to 83% of monthly payment), and renewal locks in the price. Signing a 3-year contract gives an additional 17% off the annual price (approximately 69% of monthly payment); a 5-year contract gives 25% off (approximately 62% of monthly payment). Multi-year contracts lock in prices and hedge against future price adjustments.

How are nodes and networks counted?

A node refers to a device (PC, server, IoT, etc.) connected to the VirtuaMesh network. A network refers to a logically isolated virtual network (e.g., office network, R&D network, production network). One network can contain multiple nodes.

What are the differences between Basic/Advanced/Enterprise ACL?

Basic ACL supports IP/port allow/deny rules and priority ordering; Advanced ACL adds finer-grained control such as user/device identity and application-layer protocols; Enterprise ACL includes all Advanced ACL capabilities and provides enterprise-grade features such as unlimited rules, cross-network ACL orchestration, and dual-person change review.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan mid-term?

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated charges for remaining days; downgrades take effect in the next billing cycle. Overpayments are non-refundable but can be converted to prepayment credits for future subscriptions.

Do you offer refunds?

Full refund within 7 days if unused; 70% refund for 7-30 days; 50% refund for 30-90 days; no refund after 90 days.

Do you provide invoices?

We provide official value-added tax (VAT) general invoices or special invoices. After subscription, you can apply in the management console. Electronic invoices are issued within 1 business day, and paper invoices are shipped within 5 business days.

Do you support private deployment?

Business plan offers optional private deployment; Enterprise plan includes it by default. The private version can integrate with existing security protection systems to meet organizational requirements for data localization and autonomous control.

Are there discounts for education/non-profit organizations?

Education industry gets 50% off (with education license), non-profit organizations get 60% off. Contact sales to provide qualification review.
